Review Guidelines
Helpful vet reviews are honest, specific and fair. Focus on your own experience and explain what would help another pet owner make a decision.
Useful details to include
- The reason for your visit or treatment type
- How clearly costs were explained
- How easy it was to get an appointment
- Staff friendliness and communication
- Whether insurance claims were easy
- Whether you would recommend the practice
Do not include
- Fake, paid-for or incentivised reviews
- Threats, abuse, harassment or discriminatory language
- Private information about staff, customers or animals belonging to other people
- Unsupported allegations or defamatory claims
- Medical advice or instructions for other pet owners to follow
Verification and moderation
Some reviews may require email confirmation. On eligible paid profiles, reviewers may optionally submit receipt or photo evidence for a verified-visit signal. Vets cannot moderate reviews; VetReviews.uk makes the final moderation decision.
Reporting concerns
If you believe a review breaches these guidelines, contact customerservices@vetreviews.uk with the practice name and page URL.
