About us
Finding the right vet should feel less like guesswork and more like trust.
Why VetReviews exists
Choosing the right vet for your pet is one of the most important decisions you will ever make for them — whether it is for routine care or an emergency.
We all want to know our pets are in the right hands. We want the vet to care about them, understand them and treat them with the same seriousness we do.
After moving house several times over the years, I know how overwhelming it can feel. Every new area seems to come with a long list of practices, mixed recommendations, different prices and very little clarity about what the experience is actually like.
Sometimes you wonder whether you are being charged more because of the area, because of the breed of your dog, or simply because you do not know what the treatment should cost. Those doubts are exactly why VetReviews.uk exists.
How we keep reviews fair
VetReviews.uk is here to make finding the right vet easier by giving pet owners a place to read and share honest experiences.
Vets can pay to manage their profiles — that is how we keep the lights on — but they cannot delete reviews, moderate reviews or hide negative feedback. Moderation is handled independently by VetReviews.uk.
We will always aim to keep honest reviews on the site, but we cannot allow fake reviews, abuse, private personal information, untrue claims or anything potentially libellous.
Arthur
The dog you see in the pictures is Arthur, my beloved and absolutely mental Clumber Spaniel. We lost him to IVDD in 2025.
When something goes wrong with a pet you love, you realise very quickly how much trust matters. This site is built around that simple idea: pet owners deserve clearer information, and good vets deserve to be found.
Search VetReviews.uk by practice, town or postcode and compare profiles before you book.
