A kind place to ask.
Share experiences, ask questions and help another pet owner feel less alone. Vets and veterinary nurses are welcome too.
Be helpful. Be yourself.
Speak from your own experience. Treat people kindly, even when you disagree. Be clear about any connection to a practice or business. Don’t pretend to be a veterinary professional or another person.
Protect privacy.
Use a name you’re comfortable sharing. Keep phone numbers, addresses, email addresses and other people’s private information out of questions and replies. Your email is stored privately for verification, community access and updates you choose.
Keep care personal.
Community replies are general information and personal experiences. They cannot diagnose a pet or replace a consultation. Don’t recommend prescription medicines or doses, unsafe home treatments or delaying urgent care. If your pet is unwell, contact your vet.
No spam or abuse.
We don’t allow advertising disguised as advice, scams, harassment, threats, discrimination, illegal content or dangerous advice. Use practice reviews for a fair account of a specific visit; this space is for broader conversations.
How publication works.
You don’t need to register. Your first contribution stays private until you confirm your email. Verified contributions normally appear immediately. Automatic checks can hold suspicious content for a moderator, and anyone can report a published contribution. We may remove content or restrict repeat abuse.
Verified professional badges require a separate registration check. A badge is not an endorsement of every reply.
