About this practice

Brannam Vets is a family-owned independent practice at Onyx Business Park in Roundswell, Barnstaple. Founded by local vets Ruth Ferguson and Rachael Headon, it opened in 2025 and serves pet owners across North Devon from a site near the Roundswell roundabout.

The clinic has client parking, separate cat and dog waiting areas and wards, two operating theatres and a dental suite with dental X-ray. Digital X-ray, ultrasound and an in-house laboratory support investigations. Routine care includes vaccinations, parasite prevention, neutering and microchipping, with referral options for more complex cases.

Owners can register or book online and enquire about Brannam Family Membership. The practice distinguishes its routine appointment hours from its longer daytime emergency cover; call 01271 449000 to arrange the right appointment or obtain urgent-care directions.

Directory summary checked against the practice website on 12 September 2026.
