About this practice

Vale Referrals is based at The Animal Hospital in Stinchcombe, near Dursley. The Gloucestershire referral centre works with owners and their usual veterinary practices, bringing together clinicians from several disciplines to investigate and treat pets needing additional expertise.

Services include cardiology, diagnostic imaging, internal medicine, oncology, ophthalmology, orthopaedics and soft tissue surgery. Pet wellness services and CT scan requests are also available. The team emphasises communication with referring vets, including support around diagnosis, treatment and the arrangements for ongoing care.

The centre accepts urgent and non-urgent referrals. Owners should discuss referral with their usual vet, while veterinary professionals can contact Vale about a case. Telephone the team directly for urgent referral enquiries before arranging travel.
